Yoshiki Inamura is reunited with Josh Briggs.
There was a six-man tag team match on the NXT Battleground card that saw The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance & Brooks Jensen) take on Josh Briggs and NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank.
In the end, it was the trio of Briggs, Hank, and Tank securing the win with Tank pinning Jensen. Post-match, Vance pulled Briggs out of the ring and The Culling began to attack the winners.
Spears instructed Izzi Dame to bring a chair into the ring and as she went to take the chair to him, someone was holding the other end of it. The camera panned over to Yoshiki Inamura, who took the chair into the ring and helped Hank, Tank, and Briggs fight off The Culling.
In early May, Inamura stated that he was wrapping up with NXT and would be heading back to Japan. He is back reunited with Josh Briggs to continue their tag team run.
