Yota Tsuji And Tomoaki Honma Cleared For NJPW, Will Wrestle On July 29

Yota Tsuji and Tomoaki Honma are cleared to return to the ring after being taken out of the recent Sengoku Lord event due to precautionary measures.

NJPW announced that both Tsuji and Honma underwent testing and tested negative for COVID-19, allowing them to return for the company's July 29 event. They were taken out of the Sengoku Lord card due to them appearing on a television show and one of the show's staff members ended up testing positive for COVID-19.

From NJPW:

On July 25, Yota Tsuji and Tomoaki Honma were both pulled from the Sengoku Lord in Nagoya as a precautionary measure.

Since then, both wrestlers have undertaken PCR testing and are confirmed negative for Coronavirus. They are both cleared to return to competition from Wednesday July 29’s non-televised event in Hamamatsu.

Honma, Tsuji and NJPW thank you for your support.

On July 29, Honma will team up with Gabriel Kidd, Ryusuke Taguchi and Satoshi Kojima in an eight-man tag team match while Tsuji will team with Togi Makabe in a tag team match against SANADA & Shingo Takagi.

The two men were scheduled to take part in an eight-man tag team match on opposite teams at Sengoku Lord. A simple change was made to the card as the eight-man tag was changed to a six-man tag.
