The Young Bucks: In Order To Change The World, We Need To Stay Goodbye To Sting & Anyone Like Him

The Young Bucks speak.

The duo of Matt and Nick Jackson made their return on the January 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, staring down Sting and Darby Allin as the show went off the air. On the January 17 episode of the show, the Bucks sat down with Renee Paquette for a backstage interview.

Nick and Matt Jackson started off the promo by noting that it is time to start taking their EVP jobs a bit more seriously. When Paquette brought up the prospect of backstage rumors, the Bucks denied all of them, saying that they're all fake. Matt Jackson laid out an instance where if those rumors were hypothetically true and noted that he would do it all over again if it meant saving the company.

Matt Jackson also brought up how their moto used to be, 'Change The World', at least before the culture in the locker room changed. Jackson blamed that change on "self serving, superficial superstars".

Matt Jackson ended the promo by saying that Sting is one of the last few people in a dying breed of stars, but in order to 'Change The World', they must put him and anyone similar to him away for good.

Paquette then asked if that was an official challenge from the Bucks to Sting & Darby Allin. Nick Jackson noted that they can pull strings as EVPs before walking out of the interview with Matt.

Fightful will update fans if the bout between the Bucks and Allin/Sting is made official.
