The Young Bucks: AEW & Dynamite Being On TNT "Still Feels Like A Dream"

For The Young Bucks, the thought of being featured prominently on TNT and having top executives talk about them and AEW is still a bit surreal.

During an interview with The Herald Bulletin, Nick and Matt Jackson discuss the creation of AEW and its weekly show Dynamite. Matt stated that the moment AEW Dynamite was being pitched as a weekly wrestling show was the moment he realized that this was real and not simply a little project for fun.

For Nick, he still thinks of it all, from Dynamite to running multiple pay-per-views a year, like a dream.

“That’s when I think it really got real for me. It was like, ‘OK, here we go. This isn’t just a couple of friends doing a group of shows. This is the real deal, and we’re going to be on television every week.’ I think I’m going to look back at this time fondly and go, ‘Wow, that was probably one of the best times in my professional career,’” Matt said. “And I just want to try to appreciate it because what we’re doing is really special.”

“It still feels like a dream to me,” Nick said. “Everything is so crazy, it’s hard to explain.”
