Young Bucks Advance In World Tag Title Eliminator Tournament On AEW Dynamite

They may be broke, but they’re racking up victories.

The July 30 edition of AEW Dynamite opened with a high stakes tag team affair, as The Outrunners took on the Young Bucks in the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament. This was the second-to-last first round matchup in the tournament, which will ultimately determine who will challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Forbidden Door.

In the end, Matt and Nick Jackson were able to pull out a victory, pinning Turbo Floyd after taking him out with a TK Driver.

With the victory, the Young Bucks will face either Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) or the Gates Of Agony (Kaun & Toa Liona) in the second round. Those two teams will face off on Thursday’s episode of AEW Collision. It is currently unclear when the semi-final match will take place.

On the other side of the bracket, FTR and the Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson) will face each other in a separate semi-final match on Thursday’s episode of Collision. The winner of that match will advance to the finals of the tournament.
