Yulisa Leon provides an update on her injury.
On the September 13 episode of NXT, Yulisa Leon revealed she suffered a knee injury and would be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
On September 23, Leon announced she had undergone surgery and provided an update on how she's feeling.
I can’t say the things I’m going through in this moment are easy--. 15 years as an athlete-------- and I’d never been in a situation like this but I’m really grateful for the support of the public, and the support of my family who has always been with me giving me the strength I need in every test life life has for me. I’m pretty sure that’s what helped me to become the woman I am now.
I’m not going to lie, I feel broken but not defeated----

It was said that Leon could be sidelined for up to nine months. She was regularly teaming with Valentina Feroz on NXT TV.
