Yuto-Ice Addresses Knock Out Brothers’ Future In NJPW: Whatever Rumors You Hear, We’re Not Going Anywhere

Yuto-Ice makes it clear that the Knock Out Brothers are not going anywhere.

Headlining the 2026 installment of NJPW New Year Dash was an IWGP Tag Team Championship match. 2025 World Tag League winners T.M.D.K. (Zack Sabre Jr. & Ryohei Oiwa) challenged the Knock Out Brothers (Yuto-Ice & OSKAR) for the belts.

After 26 minutes of in-ring action, Ice and OSKAR defeated T.M.D.K. to remain champions.

On December 19th, there was a report pushed out from the Self Made Pro Wrestling platform about the Knock Out Brothers, which noted that WWE offered contracts to the IWGP Tag Team Champions. Here is that full post:

A source close to the situation claims that WWE has offered a contract to both Yuto-Ice and OSKAR, NJPW’s current IWGP Tag Team Champions.

The Knock Out Brothers have turned heads and grabbed the attention of WWE scouts as the promotion is said to be looking to bolster their tag ranks.

Multiple sources have separately confirmed to @SelfMadePW that WWE is still very much looking “everywhere” for talent recruitment, including international markets.

In the Knock Out Brothers’ post-New Year Dash comments in the backstage area, Yuto-Ice responded to the rumors concerning him and OSKAR and stated, “Whatever rumors you hear, we’re not going anywhere.”

The number one contenders to Ice and OSKAR’s IWGP Tag Team Titles will be determined via a tag match featuring Yuya Uemura and Shota Umino versus Taichi and Tomohiro Ishii.
