Zack Sabre Jr. And Samoa Joe Agree To Team Up; Stu Grayson Offers The Righteous 'One Chance'

Common goals make for strange bedfellows in the world of Ring of Honor Wrestling on May 18.

During the latest episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub, Zack Sabre Jr. defeated AR FOX to retain his NJPW World Television Championship. Following his victory, Sabre was bragging about the quality of his reign when he was interrupted by Samoa Joe, the current Ring of Honor World Television champion.

Briefly, both men verbally sparred, and it appeared as though they were going to challenge one another to see who was the best TV Champion among them, but they were interrupted by Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal. The ROH originals made it clear that they wanted opportunities to become singles champions, and Zack Sabre Jr. proposed a solution.

Sabre suggested that he team up with Samoa Joe to face Daniels and Sydal. Should Sydal and Danielson be successful, they would earn individual Championship opportunities. Sabre then turned his attention to Joe and suggested that they could focus on one another once they were done with this distraction.

No date for this match has been made official as of yet.

Additionally, The Righteous was backstage talking about their recent interactions with Stu Grayson when Grayson interrupted them to ask what exactly they wanted from him. Vincent made it clear that he believes Dark Order is keeping Grayson on a leash. Right on cue, Evil Uno and company appeared to tell The Righteous to stay away from Grayson.

Grayson became incensed by this and said that the Dark Order does not speak for him before turning his attention to Vincent and Dutch and telling them he would give them "one chance."

As the backstage segment came to a close, Dutch said, "See you next week" to Evil Uno and other members of the Dark Order. Again, no matches or segments were made official before the show's end.
