Zaria comments on when she realized she wanted to be a professional wrestler and how her brother influenced that decision.

During her beginnings as a pro wrestler on the Australian independent circuit, Zaria would be known as DELTA, and competed in promotions such as Riot City Wrestling and more, even facing off with her brother, Dean Brady inside the ring. Now, the NXT superstar has explained how her brother influenced her wrestling career.

While speaking to Gerard Whateley in an interview recorded prior to last week’s edition of WWE NXT, Zaria explained how her brother inspired her to become a full time professional wrestler.

“I have an older brother, Dean Brady. He’s also a wrestler. He’s the one that got me into wrestling. He’s always had that wrestling dream since he was younger. Started wrestling when he was 18 in Riot City Wrestling, and I think when he was five years in is when I went and watched a match of his, watched wrestling live for the very first time, and it just absolutely blew me away, and I knew right then and there was when I wanted to become a wrestler.”

Zaria was then asked about the memories of wrestling alongside her brother, noting that they were ‘fantastic memories’.

“Fantastic memories. I mean, obviously being siblings, there was a lot of arguments, fighting, but at the end of the day, like we have created so many great memories of just tagging as brother and sister.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Zaria reflected on her WWE career so far. You can read more about that here.
