ZARIA Throws In Towel For Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe Retains Women’s North American Title At NXT Gold Rush

Monroe retained after ZARIA threw in the towel.

One of the championship matches on the marquee for WWE NXT Gold Rush was Blake Monroe defending the Women’s North American Championship against Sol Ruca.

It was Ruca’s first match back since suffering a knee injury. Ruca’s partner, ZARIA, defended the title on her behalf at the Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event, but Monroe was able to defeat ZARIA to capture the title.

Ruca attempted to regain the championship at Gold Rush, but Monroe targeted the knee and ripped Ruca’s brace off.

ZARIA watched on from the outside as Monroe had her partner trapped in a submission. She went to grab a towel and hesitated on throwing it in the ring, but when Monroe leaned deeper into the submission, ZARIA threw the towel in, and Monroe retained.
