Zilla Fatu Added To NXT Championship Match At Heatwave PLE

Zilla Fatu is joining the fray.

As the August 18th edition of NXT on The CW was ongoing, the brand’s General Manager Robert Stone made it official that at NXT Heatwave on August 30th, Tony D’Angelo would be defending the NXT Championship in a Triple Threat against Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller.

The conclusion of the show was a contract signing for NXT’s newest arrival, Zilla Fatu, who debuted by crashing the main event between Waller and Montana on 8/11.

D’Angelo, Montana, and Waller all showed up during the segment.

Robert Stone broke the news that, per Fatu’s contract, his first match in NXT will be a title match, so Fatu was added to the NXT Championship bout at Heatwave to make it a Fatal 4-Way.
