Zoey Stark Says Becky Lynch, CM Punk, And Cody Rhodes Reached Out And Supported Her After WWE Release
Zoey Stark was released by WWE in April despite being sidelined with a knee injury.
Stark had been with WWE for five years at the time of her release, but had been out since May 2025 with an injury.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Stark revealed who reached out to her after she was released.
“Becky was one of the first people that reached out to me and helped me during rehab. When I got released, I would call her…she was one of the first people that I called. I told her immediately. She immediately picked up the phone and was like, ‘This is what I can do for you and let’s figure this out together.’ Becky, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. She still helps me out today. Same thing with CM Punk. He reached out to me throughout my entire rehab journey. He reached out when I got released. To have these friendships that I never thought I would have, those are the moments I hold near and dear. I don’t want to keep name-dropping, but I also don’t want to leave people out. It’s important for people know that everyone there has a heart and they are great people. Cody reached out and helped me with my journey. I posted a video about what is next. He watched the entire thing and helped break everything down. I learned a lot from just from that,” she said.
Stark is already back in the ring following her release, competing at RevPro Wrestling.
