WWE Main Event Report For December 8: Sin Cara vs. Bo Dallas & Darren Young In Action

Darren Young w/Bob Backlund vs. Jinder Mahal

The match begins with Young taking Mahal to the mat and he works over his arm, Young continues working on the arm until Mahal gets to the ropes. Mahal returns to the ring and Young drags him back to the ground to work over his arm again, Mahal catches Young with a back elbow strike. Young recovers to take Mahal down again and he continues wrenching on his arm, Mahal breaks the hold by getting to the ropes and then nailing Young with a chop block when he turns his back. Mahal locks Young in a spinning toe hold before lading a knee strike, Mahal takes Young down again with a dragon screw leg whip.

Mahal injures the leg of Young further by jumping off the ropes and landing on the knee, Young gets a short break after he shoves Mahal out of the ring. Young fights back some more by catching Mahal with a pair of overhead belly to belly suplexes, Mahal rolls to the ring apron and Young nails him with a back suplex on the ringside edge. Young goes for the Gut Check and Mahal escapes, Mahal misses a dive into the corner and Young nails him with the Gut Check to get the win.

Winner: Darren Young w/Bob Backlund

The first Raw Flashback of the evening shows Charlotte berating her father for raising the arm of WWE Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks the week before on WWE Raw.

The next Raw Flashback shows WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Thew New Day interfering in a #1 Contenders match between The Club and Sheamus/Cesaro.

Bo Dallas vs. Sin Cara

The match begins with Cara rolling up Dallas for a near fall, Cara then knocks Dallas out of the ring before catching him with a suicide dive. Cara quickly brings Dallas back into the ring and Dallas rolls to the ring apron before catching Cara’s throat on the top rope, Dallas nails Cara with a few knee strikes before locking him in a chin lock. Cara tries fighting back and Dallas nails him with an elbow strike and a slam, Cara avoids some shots from Dallas before slamming him to the ground. Cara goes for a springboard moonsault and Dallas gets his knees up, Dallas charges at Cara and Cara sends him to the arena floor as we go to commercial.

We return from the break to see Cara getting a near fall on Dallas, Dallas gets to the corner and Cara nails him with a few strikes. Cara goes to the ring apron and he nails Dallas with a shoulder to the midsection, Dallas eventually catches Cara with a rope assisted neck breaker for the near fall. Dallas traps Cara in the corner and he nails him with some punches to the midsection, Dallas then drops Cara with a back suplex for a near fall. Dallas sets up for another move and Cara traps him in the corner before landing an inzaguri, Cara drops Dallas again after landing a rope assisted maneuver. Cara then hits Dallas with a springboard cross body and a springboard elbow strike, Cara then connects with a springboard moonsault for a near fall.

Cara goes up to the top rope and Dallas nails him with a few strikes before going to the middle rope himself, Cara then hits Dallas with a middle rope rolling senton for a near fall. Dallas rolls to the ring apron and Cara nails him with a few knee strikes, Dallas rolls up Cara out of nowhere to get a three count.

Winner: Bo Dallas

The final Raw Flashback of the night shows WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns defeating Chris Jericho.
