WWE Main Event Report For January 12: Alicia Fox vs. Dana Brooke & The Zo Train In Action

Dana Brooke w/Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews vs. Alicia Fox

WWE Live Event Results From Cardiff (4/18): Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Becky Lynch In Action

The match begins with Fox stomping on Brooke’s foot before shoving her to the ground a few times, Brooke winds up getting Fox to the ground next with a waist lock. Fox gets free and Brooke quickly drops her with a shoulder block, Brooke slams Fox next before landing a handspring splash for a near fall. Brooke reapplies the waist lock to a downed Fox, Fox gets to the ropes before nailing Brooke with a split kick to the head. Brooke falls to the arena floor and Fox throws her back in the ring for a near fall, Fox then stomps away on a downed Brooke before landing a knee strike.

Fox gets Brooke to the ropes before choking her on the middle rope, Fox gets Brooke down again before applying a chin lock. Fox releases the hold to catch Brooke with a northern lights suplex for a near fall, Fox then tosses Brooke right out of the ring. Fox gets Brooke back in the ring and then Brooke gets her in the ring when she gets distracted, Brooke then hits Fox with shoulder thrusts in the corner. Brooke follows up by catching Fox with a clothesline in the corner, Fox blocks a handspring elbow from Brooke before landing the axe kick for the three count.

Winner: Alicia Fox

- We see highlights from Raw next as Braun Strowman battles WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar & Kane backstage before pulling a lighting fixture on top of them.

- Highlights are then shown of the feud between AJ Styles, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, plus the announcement of Styles defending the WWE Championship against Zayn and Owens at the WWE Royal Rumble.

- Next are highlights from AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton defeating Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn on WWE Smackdown after Owens attacked everybody with a chair. Shane McMahon then comes out to restart the match as a No DQ Match, which the team of Styles, Orton & Nakamura win.

Mustafa Ali & Akira Tozawa vs. The Zo Train (Ariya Daivari & Drew Gulak)

The match begins with Gulak attacking Tozawa from behind after a Daivari distraction, Tozawa recovers to nail Gulak with a penalty kick followed by a back senton. Tozawa follows up by clobbering Gulak with some strikes, Tozawa then corners a downed Gulak before stomping away on him. Ali tags in and he nails Gulak in the arm with a top rope axe handle drop, Tozawa tags in and he also nails Gulak with a top rope axe handle drop. Tozawa then decides to wrench away on the arm of Gulak, Daivari makes a blind tag and he attacks Tozawa from behind as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see Daivari knock Ali off the top rope after a distraction from Gulak, Daivari nails Ali with a frog splash for a near fall. Gulak tags in and he stomps away on Ali alongside Daivari, Ali recovers to knock Daivari out of the ring. Tozawa appears out of nowhere to take out Daivari with a suicide dive, Ali catches Gulak with a middle rope tornado DDT followed by the 054 for the three count.

Winners: Mustafa Ali & Akira Tozawa

- Ending the show is highlights from The Balor Club defeating Jason Jordan, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on WWE Raw. That is followed by a returning Miz attacking Reigns after the match.
