WWE Main Event Report For March 17: Jack Gallagher vs. Noam Dar & Curtis Axel In Action

Welcome to the WWE Main Event report for March 17, your commentary team consists of Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton.

Bo Dallas vs. Curtis Axel

Jinder Mahal Says He Found Out About WWE Raw Day 1 Segment With The Rock A Day Or Two In Advance

The match begins with the wrestlers locking up and battling along the ropes, Axel breaks free and he attacks Dallas with a few strikes. Axel traps Dallas in the corner by kicking and punching him, Axel then cracks Dallas with a running drop kick. Dallas recovers and nails a charging Axel with a headbutt to the midsection, Dallas then hits Axel with a clothesline followed by a rope assisted spinning neck breaker for a near fall. Dallas slows things down by holding Axel in the cravat, Axel starts fighting back and Dallas drops him with a back elbow strike before getting a near fall.

Dallas gets mad and he drops Axel with a short arm clothesline for another near fall, Dallas locks Axel in the cravat one more time. Axel starts fighting back again by nailing Dallas with a plethora of punches, Axel then drops Dallas with a series of clotheslines. Axel follows that up by hitting Dallas with a shoulder tackle and a rolling neck breaker, Axel cracks Dallas with a low clothesline for a near fall. Dallas counters the Son Of Perfectplex with a roll up, Axel recovers and hits Dallas with a Son Of Perfectplex for a three count.

Winner: Curtis Axel

The first Raw Flashback of the night shows Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar in the ring talking about how Lesnar will defeat Goldberg at WWE Wrestlemania 33 to win the WWE Universal Title.

Another Raw Flashback is next, this time we see Shawn Michael talk to Roman Reigns about facing The Undertaker at WWE Wrestlemania 33, then we see Braun Strowman attacking Reigns as he was leaving the ring.

Jack Gallagher vs. Noam Dar w/Alicia Fox

The match begins with Gallagher tripping up Dar before twisting his legs up, Gallagher then starts wrenching on the arm of Dar. Dar recovers and he works over the arm of Gallagher, Gallagher breaks free and he does a headstand on the top turnbuckle. Gallagher then drops a charging Dar with a pair of boots to the face as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Dar working over the arm of Gallagher.

Gallagher tries fighting back and he eventually drops Dar with a series of drop kicks, Dar catches Gallagher with a pinning combination from out of nowhere for a near fall. Gallagher drops Dar with a headbutt before nailing him with a running drop kick for the three count.

Winner: Jack Gallagher

The final Raw Flashback shows Raw GM Mick Foley trying to fire commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Foley goes off on Stephanie, which leads to Triple H coming out and Foley eventually attacking him with Mr. Socko after getting berated. Then Seth Rollins returns and attacks Triple H, but Triple H turns the tables on Rollins and he nails him several times in his hurt knee.
