This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT! Tonight we are just three days away from NXT TakeOver: San Antonio where Shinsuke Nakamura will defend his NXT World Championship against Bobby Roode, but tonight it's all about the women of the brand as in our main event we have Liv Morgan looking to upset the rising star that is Ember Moon as well as a sit down interview between all four women involved in the NXT Women's Championship fatal four-way match this Saturday night and much more so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for all of tonight's action!
Ember Moon vs Liv Morgan
Moon is aggressive early, but Liv takes her down then she gets back up and they exchange several pin attempts before Liv hits a huricanrrana for a quick 2 count. Ember hits a fall away slam then transitions into a cross-face, but Liv gets out of it with a jawbreaker. Liv goes for a standing guillotine, but Ember throws her out of the ring then hits a sliding leg lariat on the apron before rolling her back into the ring. Once she's back in the ring Ember hits The Eclipse for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ember Moon via pinfall
-We then get an interview with Andrade Almas, but he's interrupted by Roderick Strong before Almas attacks Strong.
-We then get a well done video package for #DIY and The Authors of Pain this Saturday night.
No Way Jose vs Kona Reeves
Jose dances around and mocks Kona then hits several arm drags before Kona starts dancing with Jose. Kona doesn't dance long then attacks Jose before hitting a Samoan drop for a quick 2 count. Kona stomps on Jose repeatedly then stands on his back and poses before getting a quick 1 count. Kona then locks in an octopus stretch, but Jose powers out of it then hits Kona with a series of right hands and a flapjack. Jose then hits a pop-up Fastball Punch for the pin and the win.
Winner: No Way Jose via pinfall
-After the match Elias Samson comes out to set up their match Saturday night as we go to commercial.
Chris Atkins vs Eric Young
EY beats on Chris immediately then Chris comes back only to have his eyes raked and be stomped in the corner. Eric then does a hanging choke in the corner before hitting an elbow drop then hits Youngblood for the pin and the win.
Winner: Eric Young via pinfall
-We then get an update on Shane Thorne of TM61 who had surgery last week and will be out of action for several months.
-We then get a video package for Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode.
-We then have William Regal have Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, Nikki Cross and lastly Asuka come out to the ring to talk about their title match this Saturday night. Asuka rushes the ring, but Peyton and Billie run away then she squares off with Nikki. Peyton and Billie come back and attack both of them before Asuka and Nikki toss them out of the ring. Asuka murders the security when they come to break them up then Asuka drops Nikki with a jumping roundhouse kick. Security grab Asuka out of the ring then Nikki dives off the top rope and takes out everyone. The show ends with Nikki, Asuka and the security laid out as Peyton and Billie look on from the top of the ramp.
