WWE Raw Results For 9/11: John Cena vs. Braun Strowman, The Miz - Maryse Have An Announcement & Tag Division Chaos

The show starts off with a 9/11 tribute and a moment of silence in remembrance of the day.

Roman Reigns vs. Jason Jordan

The match begins with a test of strength that neither competitor wins, Jordan looks for some amateur wrestling holds before Reigns cracks him with a few rights. Jordan tries fighting back and Reigns drops him with a right, Jordan picks up Reigns and nails him with an overhead release suplex. Jordan follows Reigns around the ring while landing some strikes, Jordan hurts Reigns further with a few hard Irish whips into the corner. Reigns recovers and drops a charging Jordan with a clothesline, Reigns traps Jordan in the corner while landing clothesline strikes.

Reigns goes for a superman punch and Jordan counters by locking him in a cross face, Reigns escapes to the arena floor as we go to a commercial break. We return to see Jordan nailing Reigns with a few strikes until Reigns drops him, Reigns then catches Jordan with an Irish whip into the corner. Reigns would then nail Jordan with a suplex for a near fall, Reigns slows things down by holding Jordan in the chin lock. Jordan breaks free and Reigns nails him with a Samoan drop for a near fall, Reigns reapplies the chin lock to Jordan. Jordan breaks free again and he nails Reigns with an exploder suplex, Jordan sends Reigns to the corner before landing a clothesline for a near fall.

Reigns and Jordan start exchanging blows in the middle of the ring, Jordan then drops Reigns with some forearm strikes and a drop kick for a near fall. Jordan catches a winging Reigns with a belly to back suplex for another near fall, Jordan catches Reigns with a pair of northern lights suplexes for another near fall. Jordan reapplies the cross face to Reigns and Reigns breaks free, Jordan goes for a spear and Reigns sends him crashing into the ring post. Reigns then catches Jordan with the Drive By followed by the superman punch, Reigns hits Jordan with a spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Roman Reigns and Jason Jordan shake hands.

Charly Caruso interviews John Cena, Cena says he has something to say and he makes his way to the ring as we go to a commercial break.

John Cena makes his way to the ring to confront Roman Reigns, Cena grabs a microphone and he hands another to Reigns. Cena talks about how Jason Jordan almost defeated Reigns tonight, Reigns says he has had more great matches in the last two years than Cena has had in his entire career. Cena says he challenges himself every day and then says Reigns feels like he has already made it, Cena says Reigns fails over and over again.

Cena says it is going to be a cakewalk for him when they meet at WWE No Mercy, Reigns says he sold the tickets that Cena used to sell. Reigns says that Cena needs the WWE more than the WWE needs Cena, Reigns also mocks Cena’s acting ability. Cena then mocks Reigns failed drug test from a while back before exiting the ring.

Sasha Banks vs. Emma

The match begins with Emma trapping Banks in the corner before just kicking away at her, Banks fights back and drops Emma with a rope assisted arm drag. Banks misses a double knee strike and the competitors exchange roll ups for near falls, Emma then clobbers a charging Banks with a clothesline. Nia Jax makes her way to the ring as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Emma holding Banks in a full nelson.  Emma releases the hold to hit Banks with a butterfly suplex for a near fall, Banks fights back and catches Emma with a roll up for a near fall.

Banks then sends Emma face first in the corner before dropping her with clotheslines and a drop kick, Banks then takes Emma down with a head scissors takedown. Emma recovers and she kicks an upside down Banks in the back a few times, Emma crushes Banks with a cross body block in the corner for a near fall. Banks catches Emma in the Bank Statement to force a submission.

Winner: Sasha Banks
