WWE RAW Scheduled For India Live Events In December

It has become very obvious in recent months that WWE is trying to expand their audience in India, a country with 1.3 billion potential wrestling fans. If you doubt that for even a second, here is the evidence in one photo:

So it should come as no surprise that, according to the Hindustan Times, the WWE is running two live events in New Delhi, India this December.

What might be surprising is that while WWE Champion Jinder Mahal is a SmackDown superstar, it will be the RAW brand that is scheduled for the Live Events on December 7 and 8 at the Indira Ghandi Indoor Stadium.

Now, if the WWE wants Jinder on these events, all they have to do is book his flight. John Cena, a RAW superstar, will be wrestling at the upcoming SmackDown Live Event in China, and AJ Styles defeated Kevin Owens for the US Title at a Madison Square Garden RAW Live Event earlier this summer, even though both are SmackDown superstars.

So while Jinder is not currently scheduled for these events, don't be surprised if he's added as a "Special Attraction" later this fall.

The international RAW Live Event tour will also include a show in Abu Dhabi on December 6.
