WWE Smackdown Live Results 9/12 The Chairman of the Board Comes to Smackdown Live & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for WWE Smackdown! Live. Tonight we have an action packed as AJ Styles will defend his WWE United States Championship against Tye Dillinger, the boss Mr.McMahon is in the building to address what has been going on between Shane and Kevin Owens and much more so be sure to come 8 PM EST for all of the action!

-Kevin Owens comes out to start the show and talks about how he will run the show before Dolph comes out to Shane's music, then Daniel Bryan comes out and says that he runs the show and not Kevin. Daniel says that Vince will be there soon and that Kevin won't like what he has to say before Kevin leaves as we go to commercial.

AJ Styles vs Tye Dillinger WWE United States Championship Match

They start the match off at a rapid pace before Tye sends AJ back first into the ring post and to the floor as we go to commercial.

Tye is in control as we come back from commercial, hitting AJ with a series of punches in the corner before AJ escapes and sends him face first into the top turnbuckle and dropping him with a clothesline. They tease their finishers before Tye hits the Tye Breaker for a near fall off of the distraction by Baron Corbin. AJ then locks in the Calf Killer and Tye is forced to tap for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles via submission

-After the match Corbin lays AJ out with the End of Days on the floor before saying that he's challenging him next week. We then have a short interview backstage with Rusev as we go to commercial.

-Jinder Mahal comes out to the ring and talks about how racist the WWE Universe is and tells Shinsuke that the belt isn't worth it because of racist and xenophobic fans all the while being making racist and stereotypical comments about Shinsuke and Japanese people before leaving as we go to commercial.

New Day vs The Usos WWE Smackdown! Live Championship Street Fight Match

They brawl in the ring and out of the ring to start the match before New Day sets up a table at ringside. Jimmy and Jey then send E face first into the ring post as we go to commercial.

The Usos double team E before hitting him with a chair for a near fall, then beat on him with a kendo stick and tie him up in the ropes. Kofi comes in and takes out Usos with the stick until it breaks into pieces. Kofi hits a double foot stomp for a near fall before E hits the Big Ending for another near fall. The Usos hit a double superkick and go for double splashes, but one is put through a table before New Day hit Midnight Hour for the pin and the win.

Winner: New Day via pinfall

Natalya vs Naomi WWE Smackdown! Women's Championship Match

They lock up to start the match before Naomi hits a dropkick, then plays to the crowd before Natalya sends her into the middle turnbuckle as we go to commercial.

They hit a double cross body as we come back from commercial before Naomi hits a series of kicks a springboard leg drop for a near fall. Naomi kicks Natalya out of the ring when she goes for a sharpshooter, then they get back in the ring and Natalya applies it again for the tap and the win.

Winner: Natalya via submission

-Dolph Ziggler comes out and does more entrances this week including Bayley and the Ultimate Warrior before leaving as we go to commercial.

Hype Bros vs Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable

Chad and Mojo start the match off by grappling before Chad tags in Shelton who takes him down before they exchange forearms. Mojo comes back and drops Shelton with a running shoulder block before tagging Zack in. Zack hits a missile dropkick before Shelton hits a spinebuster and he and Gable hit a double team move for the pin and the win.

Winner: Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable via pinfall

-Kevin Owens comes out to the ring before Mr.McMahon does, Kevin saying that it is the first time he's ever been in the ring at the same time with him and that he's intimidated. Vince says that he's not intimidated, more like disgusted before saying that Shane beat his ass last week. Vince then proceeds to talk about how many lawsuits he's won and that he would bankrupt Kevin if he sues him. Vince says that Kevin got what he deserved before making a match between Shane and Kevin at WWE Hell in a Cell next month. They then shake hands before Kevin headbutts Vince and lays him out before the officials make him leave as we go off the air.
