WWE Smackdown! Live Live Coverage (October 4th) The Last Stop Before No Mercy!

Welcome to the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live! We are on the last stop on the road to No Mercy this Sunday night! What will Becky Lynch do after she was attacked by Alexa Bliss last week? What will Dolph have to say before his match Sunday where he'll put his career on the line? These questions and more will be answered tonight so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST!

-We open with a video package for the triple threat match this Sunday between AJ Styles, John Cena and Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Title. We open in the arena with Bray Wyatt coming out for his match with Kane; why he's having a match with Kane again I will never understand.

Katsuya Murashima And Togi Makabe vs. Jet Wei And Naoki Sakurajima Added To NJPW Wrestling Dontaku

Bray Wyatt vs Kane

Bray is aggressive early, trying to keep the much larger Kane down. Bray drops him with a shoulder tackle then misses a senton, Kane clotheslining him in the corner then hits a DDT. Kane goes for a chokeslam, but Bray hits a uranagi into a senton, but doesn't go for the pin. Bray decides to do his pose and his upside down walk as Randy Orton is on the titontron upside down? This is just weird, of course Bray is about to lose from a distraction. Bray counters a chokeslam then Kane sends him to the outside as Bray decides to get counted out.

Winner: Kane via count out

-Baron Corbin and Jack Swagger face off in the back. Jack wants to fight right there, but Corbin says he does his fighting in the ring as Jack says he'll find Daniel and Shane and make their match happen. We then get a plug for Nikki Bella versus Alexa Bliss as we go to commercial.

Alexa Bliss vs Nikki Bella

Carmella joins them on commentary before the match starts. Alexa drops Nikki then plays to the crowd before getting swept for a quick 1 count. Nikki sends Alexa outside then throws her into a Carmella who comes in and attacks Nikki ending the match.

Winner: Nikki Bella via disqualification

-After the match Becky comes out and she and Nikki clear the ring for what will probably turn into a tag team match as we go to commercial.

Nikki Bella & Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss & Carmella

Nikki is in control of Alexa as we come back from commercial.Alexa drops Nikki and hits her with a series of right hands for a quick 2 count then tags in Carmella who gets a quick 2 count before mounting and pounding on Nikki. Carmella hits a bronco buster for a quick 2 count then tags Alexa back in. Alexa drags Nikki over to their corner after taunting Becky then tags Carmella back in, Alexa and Carmella alternating headlocks then Carmella milks it and misses the second bronco buster, allowing Nikki to tag Becky in then Carmella tags Alexa in. Becky hits a suplex then drops her on the outside. Carmella hits a superkick, but Nikki spears her out of the ring. Carmella and Nikki run away up the ramp then Alexa hits Twisted Bliss on the champ for the pin and the win. Wow, well Alexa won't win, but that made her look strong.

Winner: Alexa Bliss via pinfall with Twisted Bliss

-Bray looks for Randy then Randy locks him in a shipping container as Bray tries to bust out; well Bray will be dead soon since there's no air in there and unlike the old face of fear, Bray isn't a zombie like The Undertaker. We get a plug for Miz TV as we go to commercial.

-Daniel Bryan comes out and we have the cancer survivor honorary title belt celebration like they did Monday with Enzo and Cass.

The Vaudevillains vs The Hype Bros

Mojo and Gotch start it off and Mojo shows off his power then...starts twerking? Okay then. Mojo tags in Zach as The Ascension come out onto the ramp, Zach getting an armdrag then takes out English on the apron with a dropkick. Gotch knocks Zach into their corner with a european uppercut then tags English in who gets a quick 2 count. The Bros take out Gotch then hit The Hype Ryder for the pin and the win as The Ascension look on.

Winner: The Hype Bros via pinfall

-The Miz and Maryse are in the ring and they invite Dolph out as we see Dolph will be on Talking Smack tonight. We then get a highlight package for the career of Dolph, made to look like a WWE Studios documentary. We get his start as Kerwin White's caddy and as a member of the spirit squad and how he got the World Heavyweight title and had it for 10 minutes. They then splice together people saying things, making him sound horrible including his stand up career. Miz says if his career was as embarrassing as his he would have retired years ago. Dolph says for every bad moments he had 1 magical moment. Dolph brings up Make A Wish. Dolph says through it all, even though he's had some very bad times, he's not done yet and Miz says that he is. Miz tells him to say goodbye to everything and that this Sunday his career will end and it will end because of The Miz. Miz has The Spirit Squad come out, well two members of it. This is embarrassing for any wrestling fan, almost to the level of Old Day in my opinion. Miz brings up OVW and says that Dolph can be back in the Spirit Squad after he loses Sunday. Dolph says they can go if he wants then the guys in green attack Dolph; oh that's right...they were a heel team. Dolph hits them with superkicks and tries to hit Miz, but he ducks underneath the bottom rope as we go to commercial.

-We get Bray somehow still alive then a plug for Chad Gable versus Jey Uso up next.

Jey Uso vs Jason Jordan

Jordan immediately drops Jey then Jey hits a neckbreaker on the ropes for a quick 2 count then applies a chokes then a rear chin lock. Jordan gets out of it then whips Jey into the corner, following up with a roll up out of no where for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jason Jordan via pinfall

-After the match The Usos take out both members of American Alpha, attacking the knee of Gable again then starting to do the same to Jordan, but Slater and Rhyno come out and save them. We then have Bray walking around again, seemingly going crazy from lack of oxygen as we go to commercial.

-Randy comes back to check on Bray who's not in the container anymore. We have Cena on Talking Smack where he buried Dean Ambrose which was an amazing promo. We get a plug for AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a "face off" later tonight.

-We get more Curt Hawkins promos and that he'll be in action at No Mercy. The crowd could not care less and there is a bigger reaction for Baron Corbin.

Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger

They lock up to start the match then Corbin knocks Swagger down. They lock up again and Swagger puts on a wrist lock then drops Corbin with a shoulder block. Swagger plays to the crowd then Corbin drops him with a right hand then mounts and pounds on Jack with forearms. Corbin plays to the crowd as we go to commercial.

Corbin is in control as we come back, Swagger getting caught in the ropes then hit with a Deep Six while we were in a commercial for a quick 2 count. Corbin puts on a chin lock then drops Swagger with a knee. Swagger sends Corbin to the outside then gets hit with a series of clotheslines in the corner when he gets back in. Jack hits a spinebuster then goes for the Swagger Bomb, but Corbin puts his legs up. Jack applies an ankle lock as Corbin tries to get to the rope, the referee saying he tapped; he actually didn't tap, he was reaching for the rope. Wow that was horrible, if it wasn't done like that he should be extremely mad and the referee fired; clearly this was just to show Corbin going off after the match.

Winner: Jack Swagger via submission

-AJ Styles comes out as we find out he'll be on Talking Smack as well tonight. AJ talks about beating Cena and Dean and how he became the champion. AJ says he can beat both of them at the same time as Dean comes out. Dean mocks him and makes fun of him; that's one thing I don't like about Dean, he makes AJ sound like a geek, something he's not. I'm not a fan of this iteration of Dean, he needs to turn again. Dean says that he's mad at Cena and should thank him for bringing the belt to Smackdown! Live so he even has a chance of breaking Ric Flair's record as Cena comes out. AJ tells John to shut up before he even opens his mouth and says that everyone knows what Cena will say and that he should shut up for once in his life. AJ mocks him for saying he's chasing history and a 16 time champion. AJ says that Ric Flair is an icon and legend, no matter how many belts he's won, Cena will never be in the same conversation as Ric Flair. AJ says he shouldn't be worrying about Ric's legacy and that he should be worrying about AJ Styles. AJ says he can chase history, but AJ makes history. AJ tells him to say what he wants and says he'll stand to the side and watch Cena make a fool of himself like he did at Summerslam. Cena goes to talk and Dean interrupts him this time. Dean says he knows what Cena will say, that he beat himself, he's always been his worst enemy and make Dean look like the bad guy, saying that Cena should run for political office. Dean says that anyone who is a threat to Cena gets stabbed in the back. Dean says Cena can't outwork him, that he's on a jet doing talk shows when Dean is in the ring, never taken a day off, more matches than anyone else in the company in the past two years. Dean says he's never played by Cena's rules and never will and that if being a fake, plastic kiss ass is how he'll get to the top he'll just be Dean Ambrose. Cena says talk is cheap then tackles Dean and sends Aj out of the ring before hitting Dean with an AA. AJ comes back in and Cena goes for an AA, but AJ counters and hits The Phenomenal Forearm.Dean attacks AJ and hits Dirty Deeds on the ramp to AJ and holds the belt as we go off the air with AJ out on the floor and Cena out in the ring.
