WWE returned to the road with its first full schedule of events since Summerslam this past week.
Unfortunately, the most newsworthy happenings from the latest set of house shows involved the training staff, with Samoa Joe and Xavier Woods both suffering knee injuries. Woods' injury could be especially serious.
The road has not been kind to WWE wrestlers in recent weeks. In addition to the mishaps suffered by Joe and Woods, Scott Dawson of The Revival suffered a torn biceps that will sideline him for multiple months.
Before getting injured, Joe took on John Cena on the first two shows on the Raw loop.
Over on the Smackdown events, Charlotte Flair made her return to the road for the first time since her father, Ric Flair, went into the hospital.
