WWE/NXT Live Event Reports, June 22-26: Rollins Vs. Mahal, Rusev Returns, NXT Debuts, Much More!

It was a light schedule on the road for WWE this past week. While Smackdown ran its normal schedule of live events, NXT held just two events in Florida that sandwiched the latest set of TV tapings at Full Sail University, while the Raw crew had the entire week off in advance of its tour of the Far East.

Smackdown kicked off its loop with an unadvertised Raw vs. Smackdown match. After Shinsuke Nakamura was not allowed to cross the border into Vancouver, Seth Rollins stepped in and replaced him to challenge Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title. The Smackdown shows also marked the return to action for Rusev, who has been out since March after shoulder surgery.

WWE SmackDown (4/19/2024) Results: Bayley vs Naomi, LA Knight vs AJ Styles, The Bloodline, AOP, More

The NXT shows marked the debuts of two European competitors who recently signed with WWE: Fabian Aichner, last seen stateside as part of last year's Cruiserweight Classic; and Axel Dieter, Jr., who worked under his real name of Marcel Barthel against Roderick Strong.

Here are all the results:
