Smackdown went abroad, Raw went and two NXT crews hit the road during a jampacked week of live events for WWE.
Raw's events were topped by a pair of six-man tag matches, both of which pit The Shield against the trio of Cesaro, Sheamus and Samoa Joe.
Smackdown's tour of Latin America was headlined by AJ Styles defending the WWE Title against Jinder Mahal. Those events also curiously had the Hype Bros teaming together in a triple threat tag, even after they split on TV. Kevin Owens missed the tour of Peru and Mexico, which WWE used as fodder for the ongoing storyline putting Owens and Sami Zayn against Shane McMahon:
Owens and Zayn were legitimately sent home from WWE's tour of the United Kingdom last month.
What would be considered NXT's "top" crew worked Pennsylvania and Maryland and with all three championships on that brand changing hands within the past few weeks, the new champions all were defending their titles.
NXT's Florida loop was noteworthy for a couple of reasons. First, UK talents Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, Tyler Bate and Wolfgang stuck around following the NXT TV tapings earlier last week. The Florida shows also marked a return to action for Lio Rush, who had not worked a single match for WWE since his controversial tweet about Emma's release.
