Zak Ottow Replacing Warlley Alves At UFC Fight Night 110

Warlley Alves has suffered an undisclosed injury and he has been pulled from UFC Fight Night 110, replacing him against Kiichi Kunimoto is going to be Zak Ottow.

Kunimoto (18-6-2-1NC) has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, with those three wins coming over Luiz Dutra Jr., Daniel Sarafian and Richard Walsh. Kunimoto will be competing for the first time in well over two years, with his last bout being a loss to Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 60. Kunimoto also held the Heat MMA Welterweight Title, defeating Fumitoshi Ishikawa to win the gold in March 2013.

Ottow (14-4-0) has won just one of two fights under the UFC banner, defeating Josh Burkman and suffering a defeat to Sergio Moraes. Ottow suffered three defeats prior to signing with the UFC, two of those defeats came to UFC veterans Jacob Volkmann and Mike Rhodes. Ottow also competed nine times under the King Of The Cage banner, winning all nine fights in the promotion.

UFC Fight Night 110 takes place on Saturday, June 10 from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with Mark Hunt and Derrick Lewis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
