Zeb Colter Wants To Reunite With Jack Swagger In GFW

The guy who used to be Zeb Colter hopes that the guy who used to be Jack Swagger will join him in GFW, possibly for a little nostalgic run as "The Authentic Americans." I'm only kidding about that last part.

Dutch Mantell, who portrayed the "Don't Tread On Me" racist manager Zeb Colter in WWE, is now working in the creative department of GFW under Jeff Jarrett. He recently told In Ring Pop that he hopes that former WWE World Champion Jake Hager, who portrayed his one-time charge Jack Swagger will join him in the Impact Zone.

“I talk to Jack every couple of weeks. Since he left WWE, he has expressed some interest and we have some interest in him. He was on the road for 10 years, and I think right now he is enjoying his time off. But, I am interested in bringing him in. I think he is a great in-ring talent and performer. Even better than that, he is a great guy to be around. I think you could possibly see him in GFW soon.”

Hager spoke about the possibility of joining Impact Wrestling back in May.

“It would be awesome to work with Dirty Dutch Mantell again, a good friend of mine. So we’ll just have to see."

Hager left the WWE last year, and has since been working the indies--mainly for Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore--billed as "Formerly Known As Jack Swagger." He has also said he might try his hand at MMA, though nothing has come of that as of yet.
