Bobby Lashley: One Person I Want To Get My Hands On Is Gunther, He Didn't Want To, He Backed Out

Bobby Lashley shoots his shot for a match with Gunther.

Bobby Lashley and Gunther have yet to cross paths in WWE and have been kept on seperate brands throughout Gunther's time on the WWE main roster. That being said, Lashley still claims that Gunther has been ducking him and backed out of a previous encounter between the two.

While speaking on The Bump, Lashley was asked about who he'd like to cross paths with in the King of The Ring tournament.

“One person that I’d like to get my hands on because they’ve kept us really far apart for so long is Gunther. [Hosts bring up what Gunther did to Sheamus] Oh, yeah, I’m really nervous about that [laughs]. I’m not the one…look, I’ve asked for this matchup several times. I even asked him. He didn’t want to. He backed out."

Earlier this week, Nick Aldis announced that Bobby would not be able to compete in the King Of The Ring tournament due to injury, and that he would be replaced with Angelo Dawkins.

Lashley is not the first star to bow out of the tournament due to injury, as Drew McIntyre was not cleared for action on Monday's RAW.
