The new CMLL & NJPW show was announced.
On the 4/24/2024 edition of CMLL Informa, it was announced that Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and New Japan Professional Wrestling would again join forces to host the 2nd edition of FantasticaMania Mexico.
The joint event is set to take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, in the mythical Arena Mexico. No matches or talent had been announced for the event at the time of writing.
CMLL & NJPW hosted the first edition of "FantasticaMania Mexico" on 6/30/2023. That event was headlined by Rocky Romero facing Volador Jr for the now-named CMLL World Historic Welterweight Championship. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Titan & BUSHI), El Desperado, Mascara Dorada, Mistico, Stephanie Vaquer, and many more talents from NJPW & CMLL competed in the event.
