Johnny Gargano Advances To WWE Speed Title Tournament Finals, To Face Ricochet On 5/3 WWE Speed

Johnny Gargano is going to the finals.

On the May 1 episode of WWE Speed, Johnny Gargano took on Bronson Reed in a semi-final match in the WWE Speed Championship Tournament. Reed overpowered Gargano, but "Johnny Wrestling" used his agility to counter the big man. In the end, Gargano evaded a senton and promptly clinched the three count with a crucifix pin. As a result, Gargano advanced to the tournament finals, where he will face Ricochet on the May 1 episode of WWE Speed.

Gargano previously beat Angel to advance to the semi-finals, while Bronson Reed defeated Cedric Alexander.

Ricochet has defeated Dragon Lee and JD McDonagh to advance to the finals.
