New WWE Women's World Champion To Be Crowned On 4/22 WWE Raw, Awesome Truth vs. DIY, More Announced

A new champion will be crowned on WWE Raw.

On the April 15 episode of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley relinquished the Women's World Championship due to injury. Later in the show, the broadcast team announced that a new champion would be crowned on the April 22 episode, but further details were not provided.

Plus, Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) will defend the World Tag Team Championship against DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano). DIY earned a title shot by beating The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and the Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) on April 15.

Finally, Andrade will continue his feud with Dominik Mysterio when he teams up with Ricochet to face Dominik and JD McDonagh. Andrade defeated Dominik on April 15, and Ricochet made the save when Dominik and JD attacked him after the bell.
