Bron Breakker has a 33 ⅓% chance of winning at Halloween Havoc.
On September 16, JD McDonagh earned the right to challenge Bron Breakker for the WWE NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc by defeating Tyler Bate. After that match, Ilja Dragunov would return from injury and have a stare-down with both NXT Champion and number one contender.
Immediately kicking off the September 23 episode of NXT, Dragunov made it known that he wanted to challenge Bron Breakker. This would bring out JD McDonagh, who protested that he earned his victory fair and square. The champion then made his way to the ring and quoted his Hall of Fame Uncle, Scott Steiner, and said that he was okay with having a 33 ⅓% chance of winning and making the match a Triple Threat.
