MSK reaches the end of their journey as Kyle O'Reilly approaches a crossroads in his.
For several weeks now, MSK has been on a journey to meet “The Shaman.” Supposedly, this mystery man is a master of tag team wrestling and will help Wes Lee and Nash Carter regain their NXT Tag Team Championship. It was revealed during NXT WarGames 2021 that this mystery man will finally be revealed on December 7.

Speaking of NXT Tag Team Champions, Kyle O'Reilly sorted the attempts of Von Wagner to turn on him after they lost the Tag Team Championship match at WarGames. Later that evening, O’Reilly, incensed that he was not included in WarGames this year, challenged Von Wagner to meet him inside a steel cage on December 7. Johnny Gargano's contract is also expiring following a one-week extension signed for WarGames, after the show, Gargano addressed his future, noting he was coming to NXT this Tuesday.
"I want to say thank you. There wouldn't be a Johnny Wrestling without you. You guys know I love you right back. But I am an open book with you guys and I'm always 100% honest and 100% authentic with you because I feel like you guys aren't just fans, we've known each other for such a long time and you guys are like my family
