Wes Lee provides an injury update.
On the December 5th edition of WWE NXT, Wes Lee announced that he would be out of action for a while due to a serious back injury and would require surgery, with it expected to take up to a year for Lee to recover and make his return to the squared circle. Last month, Lee made a post where he stepped into the ring for the first time since suffering the injury and now he has provided another update.
The former NXT North American Champion took to social media on Saturday to provide a small update, noting that while his body is a work in progress, his mind is strong and that he has began spray painting again.
Update: Making great progress, still uncertain when everything will be firing properly with my body, but the mind is strong. Having creative waves and I’m diving back into outlets to create art.

Lee last competed on the November 28th edition of NXT, where he earned a North American Title opportunity that would eventually go to Dragon Lee after Wes' injury.
