Ospreay revealed in April that he had committed to NJPW on a long-term deal.

Ospreay and Ricochet competed against each other in the 2016 and 2017 NJPW Best of Super Juniors tournament. They last wrestled on Aug. 26, 2017. Ricochet signed with WWE in January 2018. It is unknown how long his WWE contract is for.

Also during the Q&A session, Ospreay revealed that he can still work for Over The Top Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling.

NJPW and RPW have a working agreement and have held joint shows together. Ospreay has worked three RPW events this year and one event for OTT.

Ospreay is set to return to London on Aug. 31 for NJPW Royal Quest when he teams with Robbie Eagles to take on El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori. Prior to that, he will take part in this weekend's NJPW Super J-Cup
