Jeff Teague On His Flying Elbow: I Was Tapping Into My AJ Styles Bag

During a game against the Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks guard Jeff Teague got by Jordan Crawford and was on his way to the hoop. 

Teague was met under the basket by Earl Barron, who was in position to take a charge. 

Barron was met with Teague’s elbow.

“I drove to the basket and they took a charge. I jumped in the air and they are taking a charge. I was tapping into my AJ Styles bag. I was trying to deliver that elbow. When I go to the basket and you take a charge on me, I’m trying to hurt you. That’s the full story. I hate people that take charges. I hate that. I hate charges,” Teague recalled on his Club 520 podcast. 

Teague did deliver a phenomenal elbow. 

Teague is a noted wrestling fan, previously commenting on CM Punk’s return to WWE.
