Kelly Kelly Reveals She Turned Down WWE Evolution II Appearance, Was Invited To Sit In The Crowd

Sitting in the crowd did not feel like the right way to come back.

The second installment of WWE’s all-women’s Premium Live Event, Evolution, is taking place on July 13th. One of the names invited to attend the show was former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly.

She revealed that she turned down the invite. Kelly was going to sit in the crowd, but she didn’t feel it was the right way to make her WWE return. She wrote the following on X:

“Thank you love 🥹,I was So honored to be invited to Evolution II, to sit in the crowd it just didn’t feel like the right way to come back. I’ll always be proud to have been part of the first, my heart is with every woman in that ring tomorrow. I’ll be back when the time’s right❤️”

Kelly Kelly was part of the first Evolution in 2018. She competed in the 20-woman Battle Royal. She last wrestled in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble.
