Stephanie Vaquer Wins WWE Evolution Battle Royal, Secures Title Match At Clash In Paris PLE
Vaquer is challenging for the gold in August.
One of the marquee bouts at WWE’s Evolution Premium Live Event was the Evolution Battle Royal. The winner of the Battle Royal secured a shot at either the WWE Women’s World or WWE Women’s Championships at the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event on August 31st.
The final four participants in the Battle Royal were Nikki Bella, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and Stephanie Vaquer. Lash eliminated Bella, and it was Lash and Vaquer teaming up to eliminate Jax.
Vaquer and Legend went over the top rope onto the ring apron. They fell into a position where Vaquer could perform her signature ‘Devil’s Kiss’ maneuver. Vaquer then kicked Legend off the ring apron to win the Battle Royal.
Post-match, Stephanie McMahon interviewed Vaquer. Vaquer thanked McMahon and every woman who participated in the match and every woman who has paved the way. She said it was an amazing experience.
The Clash in Paris PLE is taking place at Paris La Défense Arena, which is in a western suburb of the city. The arena capacity ranges from 30,000 to 45,000, depending on the event.
