CMLL legend Atlantis comments on working for MLW and the upcoming MLW Fightland show in Dallas, Texas.
Atlantis is not only a legendary Luchador, but he’s also still competing today. He is currently working with Major League Wrestling. He has also worked for AEW alongside his son, Atlantis Jr. Ahead of the upcoming MLW Fightland event, Texas, Fightful Español’s Luis Pulido interviewed Atlantis.
During the interview, Atlantis encouraged fans to attend the show in Dallas and praised the alliance that CML has formed with MLW, stating that wrestlers will grow as they work in different territories.
“There in Dallas, I have many friends. Well, there are many Mexicans, and I want them to go to the event. It’s a total sellout, check the carrier and I’m very happy that CMLL has this alliance with the MLW, that we are, well, we are combining American talent for the Arena Mexico and talents of the Arena Mexico, we are going to their events that they do in different states of the North American Republic, right? Well, I think we are all very happy and well, and with those alliances, the wrestler becomes more experienced.
“When I was a rookie, I fought with many foreigners worldwide, Japanese, English, Canadians, Americans, who brought here CMLL, and it is very important to grow as a fighter. And I tell Atlantis Jr. to get prepared and fight with that. Well, the American world with other cultures, with other television products, with other styles, with another discipline, well, adapt to the world, England, Japan, Canada, the United States, and I think he is doing well and he will do much better.”
