Jade Cargill Reflects On WWE Evolution PLE: “I Think We Didn’t Even Think That Many People Were Gonna Come Out Because… The Storylines Weren’t Really There”

Cargill looks back on the PLE.
For the first time since 2018, WWE presented its all-women’s Premium Live Event, Evolution. It emanated from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
One of the matches on the bill was a No Holds Barred match between Naomi and Jade Cargill. Cargill left the match with a win, and she looked back on that night while on The Babyfaces Podcast. Cargill admitted that talents even thought there was a chance of it not having the crowd turnout that it did.
“I had a great time (at WWE Evolution). The crowd was electric. I think we didn’t even think that many people were gonna come out for that show because… the storylines weren’t really there, but, the fact that the crowd showed up for us was amazing and the fact that we were able to deliver and people want more, I know it’s something that’s gonna happen and be a yearly PLE.”
At the end of Evolution, Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and went on to become WWE Women’s World Champion.
