Místico Wins 2025 CMLL Men’s International Grand Prix

Místico walked out winning the Men’s 2025 CMLL Grand Prix for Team Mexico on August 29, 2025, in Arena Mexico against Team World.

The headlining bout of the 8/30 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular was the 2025 Men’s International Grand Prix.

The Grand Prix was comprised of Team Mexico (Místico, Volador Jr., Atlantis Jr., Máscara Dorada, Neón, Templario, Titán, Ángel de Oro, Zandokan Jr. & Difunto) and Team International (Mike Bailey, Rocky Romero, Taiji Ishimori, The Beast Mortos, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, Michael Oku, TJP, Robbie X & Donovan Dijak).

After a dynamic but heated match, Místico ended up picking up the win by last eliminating Mike Bailey.

Místico also eliminated Taiji Ishimori, Action Andretti, and TJP during the match & taking the elimination record for the match.

He now joins Rayo de Jalisco Jr. as a two-time winner of the tourney. Despite being eliminated in the match, Volador Jr. is still the only 3-time winner in tourney history.
