Matt Hardy Believes The Hardys vs. Team 3D At TNA Bound For Glory Will Be One Of The Most Emotional Matches In TNA History

Matt Hardy comments on the three tag teams that built the legacy of TLC matches still wrestling in 2025.

The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian changed the game with their death-defying matches involving tables, ladders, and chairs in the 2000s. Twenty-five years later, they’re still going strong. Edge & Christian are now known as Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in AEW. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are scheduled to wrestle Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley at TNA Bound For Glory in what will be D-Von’s retirement match.

Speaking to Joey Karni on The Angle Podcast, Matt Hardy spoke about the emotions of the upcoming bout and reacted to the reunion of Edge and Christian in AEW.

“It’s cool, it’s a very cool moment. Once again, this match at Bound for Glory, us vs. The Dudleyz/Team 3D, it is going to be the final time you see The Hardys and The Dudleyz in the ring together, and we’re going to make it a celebration of our 27-year rivalry. I really do believe when this match ends at Bound for Glory, it’s going to be one of the most emotional TNA matches in all of TNA history. To see Adam and Jay back together, it is very cool because we’re so linked to those guys, I mean, we’re all brothers, we were the forefathers of the whole TLC movement. So it is cool, I’m very happy they’re teaming up again.”
