Penta Delivers Speech At AAA x WWE Worlds Collide: Las Vegas, Sets Sights On AAA Mega Title
Penta made his return to AAA at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide: Las Vegas, delivering a speech before the action got underway.
Penta welcomed the crowd to the show and said this event would be a night about Mexico tradition and culture.
He closed his promo by saying that he has his sights set on the AAA Mega Championship, which he’s never held. Dominik Mysterio is set to challenge Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship in the main event of Worlds Collide: Las Vegas.
“But I have news for you: When AAA calls on me, I’m going to do something I was never able to do in Mexico… win the Mega Title. I don’t care who wins it, but what I can promise you is that I’ll come into this ring with blood, sweat, and tears to win the title… but not before beating that bum-ass Dominik for the Intercontinental Title,” he said.
Along with a special appearance by Penta, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Triple were shown on-screen to open the show. Lilian Garcia sang the US national anthem.
