Gable Steveson Wins MMA Debut With First Round TKO

Gable Steveson was successful in his MMA debut, stopping Braden Peterson in the first round.

The Olympic Gold Medalist quickly got the fight to the mat and then proceeded to rain down punches on Peterson, who could only cover up. Steveson passed to mount, but opted to simply stand up to deliver ground and pound until the referee jumped in to stop things.

Steveson’s debut fight took place at LFA 217. The event aired on Fight Pass.

Jon Jones was in Steveson’s corner for the fight.
