Reed is someone who has showcased his style as a monster heel since his return to WWE, taking on the likes of Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in big feuds on the WWE main roster. Now, Reed has named the influences on his in ring style.
While speaking to the Wrestling Classic in a new interview, Bronson Reed would explain the influences that have shaped his style as a big man pro wrestler.
“Yeah, I think for me, a big one for me is Vader. I’m a huge Vader fan. I’ve been watching him again since I was a kid. Bam Bam Bigelow was someone that as a kid stood out to me. Then as I- when I started my wrestling career, I was maybe 260 pounds. I wasn’t a small guy, but I wasn’t necessarily a super heavyweight. So the bigger I got, the more I started studying some of the bigger guys. But yeah, for me, it’s like Vader, Bam Bam Bigelow, Stan Hansen, Terry Gordy. Like these are these big men that are, that are huge, but can still move in the ring and do things that you don’t expect them to do. That’s sort of the type of super heavyweight I’ve based myself off of.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Reed named two opponents he would like to face at WWE Crown Jewel in his home country of Australia. You can read more about that here.
