MLW’s Cesar Duran Takes Shot At WWE’s Saudi Arabia Partnership During MLW Fury Road Promo

MLW’s Cesar Duran takes a shot at WWE and their relationship with Saudi Arabia during MLW Fury Road 2025.

The most recent MLW special emanated from Texas, and Cesar Duran, the on-screen figurehead of Major League Wrestling, addressed the crowd and thanked them for the sell-out show. However, he also threw in a dig about not needing to go to Saudi Arabia and accept blood money.

“You have sold us out! You once again did it! You love your Major League Wrestling and Major League Wrestling loves you! We have a legacy in the making tonight. And while some other company packed up their big show and shipped up to Saudi Arabia to take that blood money, we come here with the real deal in Texas.“

WWE will hold WrestleMania outside of North America for the first time in 2027, when the event is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia. Learn more about that here.
