Tyler Breeze Reflects On NXT Homecoming Return, Facing Ethan Page
Tyler Breeze reflects on his NXT return.
NXT Homecoming was a big show for the Orlando-based brand, allowing huge names like Charlotte Flair, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, Sami Zayn, and Bobby Roode to make their return to Full Sail University.
Tyler Breeze also appeared on the show, facing Ethan Page in a match for the NXT North American Championship. Speaking with Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Breeze reflected on the return and some of the nostalgia that he felt.
“It was cool, man. It was weird because some stuff feels like yesterday and other stuff feels like a lifetime ago. Some stuff has changed, some stuff has not. The backstage area is all exactly the same, that whole hallway is exactly the same. Going back there, it was a mix of nostalgia and evaluating everything and going, ‘Man, I remember this but woah, that seems like a long time ago.’”
Breeze went on to say that it was cool to face Ethan Page and to be back in the fold.
“Homecoming having the theme of everyone who’s been a part of NXT, really cool to be a part of it and obviously again, if you look at the original building blocks of NXT, it’s hard to see that without Tyler Breeze being a part of it. Getting to work a guy like Ethan Page and just kind of being back in the fold is always cool.”
