Alice Crowley Expresses Excitement For CMLL Women’s Grand Prix, Details How Opportunity Came About

Alice Crowley speaks about the Grand Prix.

Coming up is the 2026 CMLL Women’s Grand Prix, and one of the competitors is Alice Crowley. Crowley was interviewed by Fightful’s Luis Pulido and spoke about the opportunity and how it came to be.

“I’m so excited; there’s just no other way to put it. I’m just super, super excited, super, super thankful to be here, and I don’t think I ever could have told myself, “Hey, guess what you get to do?” you know? I get to wrestle in Arena México, like, that’s awesome and, honestly, I can’t thank everyone enough. So yes, I’m very, very, very excited to be here.” Crowley added, “I know some things happened with Taylor Rising; they had some other woman who was in the place. Something happened, and Scott called me and asked me if I was available and if I would be able to make these dates, but he didn’t tell me what for, and I just said yes, you know? I was like, “Yeah, of course I’m available,” expecting it to be something for Maple Leaf, which technically it is, but I didn’t realize that it was gonna be something this big. Whenever he actually gave me that call and was like, “It’s CMLL; you’re gonna be going to Mexico”, it was just mind-blowing. If it wasn’t for Scott, I would not be here right now, so thank you, Scott, thank you, but yes, that is what I would assume. I don’t know what elseScott did to be able to get the company with this deal; it’s a lot of hard work, and I’m just thankful that I’m the one who gets to be able to represent Maple Leaf in this tournament. It’s very, very, very big.”

Crowley filled in after Taylor Rising departed Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
