Ash By Elegance Assured Triple H He Could Find ‘Many More Talent’ In The Bodybuilding World

Ash By Elegance discusses being a bodybuilder turned professional wrestler.

Former WWE superstar Ash By Elegance would turn to TNA following her WWE release in 2023, but prior to becoming a professional wrestler, Ash would compete in bodybuilding, even featuring as part of Arnold’s Sports Festival, where she was eventually recruited to WWE

While speaking to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp in a new interview, Ash was asked about her history in bodybuilding, and being recruited to WWE from the Arnold Sports Festival, with Ash sharing that she assured Triple H that he could find ‘many more’ talent in the bodybuilding world.

“Yes, this was like my backyard. That’s where they found me. I remember talking with Hunter, Triple H, and he was very familiar with the bodybuilding world and industry like that. I was like, ‘Look, if you can find me there, I bet you can find so many more talent or even just dive into showing the Arnold world and the bodybuilding world, what the correlation is with wrestling and fitness and bodybuilding.’ It was a great fit. Eva Marie was there, Braun Strowman was there, Jinder Mahal. There’s so many people that love bodybuilding and fitness and like a lot of the Mr. and Mrs. Olympias—I know Phil Heath, Flex Lewis, Missy, they’re all former Mr. and Mrs. Olympians and they love wrestling to this day. I remember talking to them, I’m like, ‘We remember that Arnold Classic, and we remember you performing,’ and stuff like that. So it was awesome to be able to merge the two organizations together. It was such a family. I mean, it still is like family oriented. But back then it was like the feels, right Because it was like everyone was new and NXT was definitely going in a different direction. We were starting to go on the road loops and look at us now. Everyone’s growing in different directions, some within WWE, some not. But I will say this, some become mothers, some develop in other industries and go different places and it’s awesome because at the end of the day, we call one another and it’s like we never missed a beat.”
