Swoggle: Hornswoggle Would Be Awesome As Cheesecake

TMZ Sports had the honor of sitting down with Swoggle in their latest episode of Inside The Ring. Together, Branson Quirke and Roger Corral spoke with the former WWE superstar about his son, what he’s up to now, and all things pro wrestling related.

Quirke asked Swoggle if he believes the Hornswoggle character would work now, to which he responded, “In small doses.”

“No one wants sprinkles on every sundae,” Swoggle said. “No one wants sprinkles on every bowl of ice cream. You don’t, it’s a treat. Same as cheesecake. Man, I love cheesecake but if I ate cheesecake everyday, I’d start to get sick of cheesecake. So having cheesecake here and there is incredible and it brings my love for cheesecake. Hornswoggle would be awesome as cheesecake.”

Swoggle continued, “That’s the thing man, characters nowadays, because we’re in a different time and it’s not the heyday where people are working 300 days a year, it’s a different time and people know that I’m just Dylan from Oshkosh. I’m not this troll that lives under the ring. And that’s okay! But I feel like characters work the best now if they are here and there.”

Swoggle told the hosts he still watches “all wrestling” on a weekly basis, and he was a huge fan of Survivor Series. Even though it was a polarizing show, Swoggle enjoyed it for what it was and encourages people to kick back and be fans rather than critiquing every decision.
