Jonathan Gresham On In-Ring Return: I’m Fully Ready To Go, I’m At 100%
Jonathan Gresham is ready to return to the squared circle.
‘The Octopus’ will wrestle ‘Fancy’ Ryan Clancy at BEYOND Wrestling’s Wildest Dreams event on January 23. This will be his first match since August 2, 2025, as he suffered two strokes later that month after a battle with COVID-19.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed for a new interview, Jonathan Gresham confirmed that he is fully ready for his return to the ring.
“Everybody already knows I had two strokes. They were Covid-related strokes. Now I’m fully ready to go. I’m 100 percent and I’m off to the races.”
Gresham went on to say that he isn’t concerned about the doubters.
“Good luck to them. My goal is to encourage the younger generation to do what you love about pro wrestling–by doing what I love about pro wrestling.”
