Persephone Comments On Getting Advice From Mark Henry And Other Veterans, ‘I Don’t Think It Has Fully Settled In Yet’

Persephone reacts to Mark Henry’s praise.

Back in October 2025, Henry made some headlines when he praised the young luchadora and even offered to pass down his World’s Strongest Slam finisher.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Persephone commented on getting advice and/or praise from multiple people that she grew up watching.

“Oh, my God. That’s honestly something so crazy and I think I haven’t like fully settled in with the idea in that as a kid, I would watch these people. They were they are stars and I would watch them as a kid and I think, ‘Man, these guys are crazy.’ I think somewhere I even have a signature from him, but as a kid-kid that I got it and I have to really look for it, but I know I have one there and a bunch of other stars. So now even being an AEW, there are stars that I grew up watching that are now there in front of me and walking past me or even sometimes like will stop me and say, ‘Hey, I think this would work,’ or giving me their two cents and I love it. It’s something really crazy of there are people that I grew up watching that are just great at what they do and now they know who I am and they’re either, like Mark, just interested in my work or they’re willing to help and give me their piece of advice from the experience that they’ve had. So honestly, I don’t think it’s fully settled in yet. But it’s honestly been a great experience.”
